Plastic Surgery Arts Center, 560 Blossom Suite D, in Webster, is currently home to respected surgeon Dr. Jan Garcia, Jr. He provides a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures, and he provides professional customer service from the consultation to the recovery of each patient.

Dr. Garcia, a native of Puerto Rico, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico -Medical School in 1975. He served part of his residency at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Garcia was awarded a United States Navy scholarship to complete medical school residency, and he served as a Lieutenant for several years. Dr. Garcia trained at the University of Texas at Galveston in their plastic surgery program, and he decided to stay in this region.

Since he first called Clear Lake home, Dr. Garcia’s professional attitude and sincere concern for his patients has made him a premier plastic surgeon in Bay Area Houston. He has broad knowledge in the plastic surgery field, yet he has a specialized character that makes him a well-liked surgeon.

Dr. Garcia is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Plastic Surgery Arts Center offers several procedures, and Dr. Garcia handles each one with the utmost care and precision. He provides each client with a consultation in which surgical need is evaluated and determined.

Clients in need of face-lifts, brow lifts and laser facial resurfacing and toning appreciate Dr. Garcia’s precision and technique. He also utilizes his artistic ability with clients in need of breast augmentation, breast lift and body sculpting. Ultrasonic liposuction, abdominoplasty and otoplasty (ear surgery) are a few more services that Dr. Garcia performs with an artistic wrist. Many clients utilize Dr. Garcia for laser hair removal, spider vein sclerotherapy or laser treatment. PLANS FOR GROWTH
Dr. Garcia has big plans for economic development within Bay Area Houston. He is a major player in the development of the Surgical Arts Center of Clear Lake, 333 Texas Avenue in Webster. This hospital project includes plans for a 48,000 square feet surgery center and 34,000 square feet of medical office space. Plastic Surgery Arts Center will eventually move its offices into this medical complex.

“I had a vision of a state of the art surgical facility enabling myself and my fellow physicians to provide quality medical care to our patients,” Dr. Garcia said. “I worked hard at planning and designing such a facility, and with the help of some great professionals I am seeing my vision come true.”

Richard D. Bell, President and CEO of Harborside Mortgage Corporation is helping coordinate this magnificent surgical center. First American Bank is providing the $18 million construction loan and permanent financing.
